This policy explains what Pesil collects, why, and what we do with it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address and phone number, so we can identify you and secure your account.
- Business details — your business name, the people you invite, and the role each of them holds.
- Transaction records — payments, invoices, customers, expenses and settlements you record or receive through Pesil.
- Technical records — sign-in times, device and session information, and security events such as failed sign-in attempts.
What we do not collect
We do not store your mobile money PIN, and we never ask for it. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
Why we hold it
To run the service, to show you an accurate record of your money, to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to financial services, and to detect fraud and abuse.
Who we share it with
Payment providers, so that a payment can be made or verified; infrastructure providers who host Pesil on our behalf; and regulators or law enforcement where the law requires it. Nobody else.
How long we keep it
Financial records are kept for as long as the applicable law requires. You can close your account at any time, but we cannot delete transaction history we are obliged to retain.
Security
Passwords are hashed with Argon2id and never stored in a readable form. Sessions can be revoked. Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is restricted and audited.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete what we are not required to keep. Write to hello@pesilapp.com.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you before it takes effect.
