Mobile money, banks and cash move the money. Pesil makes it make sense — every payment, invoice, expense and settlement in one clear view, so you always know what came in, what is owed, and where your money is.
Pesil is in active development. We are connecting payment providers now.

The problem
Money reaches African businesses through several channels at once, and none of them talk to each other. At the end of the day someone has to piece the story together by hand.
The Money Inbox
Pesil is not another mobile money wallet. It is a financial control centre for your business: one place where every channel lands, and every amount is explained.
Mobile money and cash today; banks and cards as they connect. One record, whatever rail the money used.
Send an invoice, share a payment link, or show a QR code. Pesil matches the payment to the invoice when it lands.
Payments carry a customer and a purpose, not just an amount and a phone number.
Outstanding invoices, overdue balances, and who to follow up with — without a spreadsheet.
Money going out and cash coming in belong in the same book as everything else.
Which payments make up a payout, when it is expected, when it actually arrived, and why if it did not.
Pesil checks its records against the provider's and reports what disagrees rather than quietly papering over it.
Ask for help on a payment and Pesil already has the amount, provider reference, timeline and status.
How it works
Sign up, add your business, and invite your team with the right role — cashier, finance, accountant.
Share a link, send an invoice, show a QR, or record a cash sale. Customers pay with mobile money as normal.
Every payment is verified with the provider and written to a double-entry ledger the moment it is confirmed.
Your Money Inbox shows what came in, what is owed, what went out, and anything that needs you.

Every payment carries a timeline like this. No screen ever just says “pending” without telling you what that means and what happens next.
Trust
Pesil is being built to a standard where every figure can be traced back to the event that produced it.
Every confirmed payment posts a balanced accounting entry in the same database transaction. A payment cannot exist without the entry that explains it.
Payment events and ledger entries are append-only. Corrections are made by posting a reversing entry, so the record of what happened stays intact.
A Pesil receipt can be checked against Pesil itself, so proof of payment does not depend on a screenshot anyone could edit.
A cashier can take a payment without being able to refund one. Every business action is checked on our servers, never in the app.
One business can never see another's payments, customers or invoices. That separation is enforced and tested continuously.
Pesil is not a bank and does not hold your funds. Money moves through licensed payment providers; Pesil records and explains it.
Questions
Not yet. Pesil is in active development and we are in the process of connecting payment providers. Join the waitlist and we will contact you as we open access to businesses in Botswana.
No, and it is not trying to. Your provider moves the money. Pesil sits above it and makes the money make sense — recording it, matching it to customers and invoices, and showing you one clear picture across every channel.
No. Pesil is not a bank and does not take custody of your funds. Payments are processed by licensed providers and settled to your account. Pesil records, reconciles and explains that movement.
Yes. You can invite people with a role that fits what they do — owner, admin, finance, cashier, accountant, support or viewer — and each role only permits the actions it should.
We have not set pricing yet. We would rather work that out with the first businesses using Pesil than announce a number we have not tested. Waitlist members will hear first.
Yes. Cash is a real channel for most African businesses, so it belongs in the same book as everything else rather than a separate notebook.
We are onboarding businesses in small groups so every merchant gets set up properly. Leave your email and we will be in touch.
